Eligible students who were in Department of Children and Families custody, adopted, in a relative’s custody or placed in court guardianship may be exempted from paying tuition and fees at Florida College System institutions.
Postsecondary Education and Support Services (PESS) provides eligible students currently and formerly in foster care a monthly stipend of $1,720 to assist with cost of living. PESS also provides continued transitional and financial planning.

The AOK Scholars Program provides coaching and resources to support undergraduate college students or students pursuing a technical degree/certification.
Although the AOK Program is not a scholarship, participants may receive needs-based funding to overcome barriers in their journey to graduation.

With Opportunity Passport™ young adults ages 17-29 in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties who have spent at least one day in foster care receive financial literacy training, financial coaching and a savings match up to $3,000 to purchase an asset like a car.
